IJsselstein, April 24, 2024 – Inscio is expanding its portfolio of sensor solutions for roof monitoring with the solution and technology from Rona@Dakdetec. This has been made possible by the acquisition of Rona@Dakdetec by MSQ Group, co-shareholder of Inscio Roofs.
Remote roof monitoring
Both Inscio and Rona@Dakdetec have developed the market for remote roof monitoring in recent years with innovative sensor solutions. Now, these two companies are joining forces to create smart roofs using the best technology available.
Roofs are becoming smart assets
Due to the trend of roofs being used more and more often as living space (roof gardens) and for collecting and draining rainwater (retention roofs), roof monitoring is becoming increasingly important. Inscio-Roofs turns insulated roofs into self-monitoring smart assets.
Subscription-based‘Data-as-a-Service’
Inscio provides a subscription-based 'Data-as-a-Service' for remote monitoring of the condition of roofs, facades, and foundations. Important measurements, such as movement, temperature, humidity, and insulation values, are related to the sensor locations and visualized in a clear dashboard, online, and in an app.
Customization for every customer
"With the combination of our own sensor technology and the solution from Rona@Dakdetec, we can now deliver customized solutions for every customer," says Jeroen van de Laar, co-founder of Inscio. "Whether it's a housing association that wants to monitor the roof behavior of entire complexes, or individual house or apartment owners and managers. In a safe and flexibly scalable way."
