Inscio was founded by Jeroen van de Laar and Ernest Knoors. Two worlds that normally don't intersect—construction & real estate, and international motorsports—but which together form exactly what makes Inscio unique: deep technical insight, unparalleled precision, and an obsession with reliability and performance.
Why we work this way
Materials behave differently in practice than on paper.
Roofs, facades, CLT, biobased insulation, floors, and indoor climate respond to:

Who we are
Jeroen van de Laar
Co-founder — Construction, Real Estate & Infrastructure
Jeroen has been working on IT solutions for the construction, real estate, and infrastructure sectors for over 20 years. He has held various management and executive positions and has extensive experience in business development, data products, and innovation in complex chains.
He sees what goes wrong in projects: lack of insight, snapshots, assumptions, and reactive behavior. Inscio was born out of his conviction that the sector will only really move forward if we better understand how materials and structures behave—not just in theory, but in reality.
Core: pragmatic, analytical, sharp eye for processes and risks.
Ernest Knoors
Co-founder — Engineering, Performance & Elite Sports
Ernest worked in international motorsport for over 20 years, including Formula 1 and DTM.
He was an engineer at Jaguar and Ferrari, and later ran an entire BMW DTM team.
In motorsport, data, reliability, and precision are not luxuries—they are prerequisites for winning. Every deviation counts. Every detail must be right. Performance must be predictable.
He now applies the same approach at Inscio:
systematic, technically thorough, and with an unerring eye for anomalies.
Core: perfectionism, technical depth, performance-oriented thinking.
